What is EPR?

EPR stands for Extended Producers Responsibility i.e. Producers, Importer & Brand Owner are liable for the disposal of their pre & post-consumer products. They are required to maintain a proper EPR Action plan to collect back the plastic waste generated due to their products.

  •  Extended Producer Responsibility allows every PIBOs and PWPs to raise their environmental awareness with the public.
  • PIBOs  are  responsible for their EPR obligations by collecting , or properly disposing of plastic packaging focussing on recycling or incineration.

Our Goals

Our objective is no reduce the negative environment impact of products, from from their manufacturing phase to recycle or disposal. By providing plastic EPR services, our aim is to assist the organizations meet obligations under PWM Rules 2016(its subsequent revision) by building the EPR plan and work on modalities for the waste collection system.

The Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016, mandate the generators of plastic waste to take steps to minimize generation of plastic waste, not to litter the plastic waste, ensure segregated storage of waste at source & hand over segregated waste in accordance with rules.
